Somali Outreach Project

 
     

This project provides a health and well-being support service for Somali speaking residents of the London Borough of Hillingdon, aged 18 yrs and above.

 

The project seeks:

 

# to raise awareness of the complementary roles of culture, faith, and health and well-being services in relation to emotional and mental health;

 

# to promote better emotional and mental health and well-being;

 

# to support people who experience anxiety, stress, depression and social isolation;

 

# to increase access to the range of community health and well-being services;

 

# to provide advice, information, and practical guidance.

 

 

 

Service availability

This service operates Tuesday p.m. and Wednesday, a.m. and the office base is at the Hesa Centre, 52 Station Road, Hayes, UB3 4DD.

 

We welcome opportunities to work in partnership with community and faith groups, schools and children's centres, GP practices, and pharmacies.
